Jeff beckley

CPA • President

Jeff started Beckley & Associates PLLC (formerly Beckley CPA PC) in 2005 in McKinney, Texas, with his wife, Juliette Collin. Jeff has been a Texas CPA since 1993. He was the Board Chair of the Plano Chamber of Commerce in 2018, which was the year the Chamber won Chamber of the Year by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).

Jeff loves working closely with clients through tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and small to medium-size businesses and performing advisory sessions generally. He also enjoys educating clients on the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. 

An avid runner, Jeff competes in several marathons and half-marathons each year. In early 2017, he completed his first 50-mile race in Huntsville, Texas. In October 2022, he completed his third Iron Man in Sacramento, California. Jeff also enjoys reading every chance he gets, from civil war history to political bios to contemporary literary fiction.

Judith A Kristan

CPA, MBA • Director of Tax Services

Judith (Judy) Kristan is a 20-years+ veteran of tax return preparation and tax planning for both businesses and individuals.  As a licensed CPA, her current work is with Beckley & Associates, setting up and managing the newest company location in Cornelius, North Carolina, near Charlotte.  She also has experience in a large corporate tax preparation environment at Baxter Healthcare Inc, as well as tax technology training at Deloitte & Touche Tax Technologies. Judy also enjoys the role of educator for graduate students in the area of accounting and tax and has found that her teaching skills add additional value when working with clients. Judy also is proficient in QuickBooks desktop software.

Judy spends time each week weight training, doing aerobics and cycling, as well as singing in the Praise Team at her church. Judy can also play several musical instruments. She loves to read, particularly nonfiction. Currently she is reading novels by a writer in North Carolina, which is giving her a new perspective on the local environment where she lives.

Juliette Collin

Vice President of Operations

Juliette oversees the operations of Beckley & Associates and manages the office team. She has been with the firm since the beginning. Among other things, she is in charge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Marketing, online software research and Human Resources. She enjoys catching up with clients throughout the year, as well as evaluating and refining our digital tools annually to enable serving our clients more efficiently.

Juliette majored in Literary Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with honors in 1993. She is an avid reader of contemporary and classic literature, is a major dog lover, likes to take long walks, play board games with her husband, and enjoys having brunch or dinner with friends on the weekends.

Shannon Tyler

Tax Accountant

Shannon has been with Beckley & Associates since April 2013, starting out in our former office in E. Plano, Texas. She has worked as an auditor in past employment and now prepares corporate and nonprofit income tax returns for our business clients.
Shannon also prepares payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, W-2s and 1099s for our clients with small to medium-size businesses. Shannon is a point of contact for many clients, ready to answer their questions directly or to facilitate an answer as soon as possible.

Jennifer Gibbs

Office Manager

Jennifer joined Beckley & Associates in March 2017. She has over 20 years’ experience as an administrator in the professional services industry, working for consulting and executive recruiting firms before joining our team. Jennifer is our clients’ first point of contact in the office or on the phone. Besides regularly assisting clients over the phone and email, ordering office supplies and working on special projects, Jennifer assesses clients’ tax documents for tax preparation readiness.

She graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Texas at Permian Basin.

Vicki Meng

Tax Accountant II

Vicki has been with Beckley & Associates since July 2020. She has worked as an auditor previously. At Beckley & Associates, Vicki prepares corporate and nonprofit income tax returns and performs accounting and advisory for our business clients. She has earned her dual master’s degrees in accounting and management science at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is proficient in Mandarin and English.

Administrative Assistant

Kelli moved to Texas in December 2021 and has loved every minute of it. She enjoys hanging out at home with her parakeet, Petrie, and her crazy dog, Eris. Kelli loves exploring the area of Frisco/DFW and has learned so much about it. Her favorite hobbies include utilizing her Dog Obedience Instructor certification by helping owners with their dogs and participating in her  church’s choir every Wednesday night, Sunday morning and for special events and holidays. Kelli greatly values the experience of working at Beckley & Associates. In her own words, Kelli “loves every member of our amazing team.” She looks forward to the many ways she will continue to grow in her position here with the Beckley family.

Besides managing the staff calendar–not a small undertaking!–Kelli performs many special projects, handles client communications and helps to prepare company documents. She is proficient in Google Workspace, TeamWork Projects and Microsoft Office.

Administrative Coordinator

Ashley originally joined Beckley & Associates in 2011 through 2014 and rejoined the team in a part-time capacity in 2018.  Ashley works across the entire Beckley & Associates team to support key administrative tasks.  She also works closely with the VP of Operations to develop growth strategies and identify process improvements and efficiencies to continually enhance our client communications and client engagement processes.

Ashley graduated from Texas A&M University.  Outside of work you can find Ashley on a plane traveling the world, at the gym or in the kitchen baking. She is proficient in TeamWork Projects, Google Workspace, Excel and QuickBooks Online.
